Your donations make a difference!

By donating to Ronald McDonald House BC, you make it possible for us to keep our doors open and serve BC families in need.

While McDonald’s® and their charity, Ronald McDonald House Charities, are long-term committed partners, we have a significant need to fundraise in the community. RMHC guarantees every House in Canada a minimum annual contribution of $100,000 to assist in operating costs. For RMH BC, this is approximately 12% of our annual operating costs. The remaining necessary funds need to be raised through individual and corporate donations.

Host a Fundraiser

Hosting a fundraiser is a great way to raise money for Ronald McDonald House BC while having fun and spending time with friends. Previous fundraisers have included bake sales, hockey tournaments, and bike-a-thons –you too can turn your hobby into a creative fundraising idea!

Adopt-A-Room

With your friends, family, or company, you can “adopt” a room at Ronald McDonald House BC and provide a comforting refuge for families during some of the most difficult times they may ever encounter.

Charity Car Program

Many car owners don't know what to do with an unwanted car, truck or van. Maybe it's been in a collision, maybe the mechanical repair would cost more than the car is worth, or maybe it's old and rusty, or simply unwanted. Who can they call? Many organizations will offer to pick up your cars; some may even offer you cash. We offer you a third option - Donation.

Leave a Legacy

You can play a vital role in securing the future of Ronald McDonald House BC. By leaving a charitable gift in a will, remembering loved ones through a memorial gift, or other planned giving strategies with the use of insurance, RRSP's or gifting of assets (stocks, bonds, real estate etc.), you can help Ronald McDonald House BC in a more lasting way. Many of these strategies provide tax savings as well.
